Millenials are in over 44% of all leadership positions globally. According to Korn Ferry, the average age when millenials obtain their first leadership role is at age 30. However, according to Harvard Business Review, the average age for those starting in formal leadership development is 42 years old, which also includes organizations that are providing coaching for their employees. That is a 12 year gap between first time leadership roles and being formally developed as a leader. It is no wonder that leadership turnover is at an all time high! Cedric Konan is an Executive Coach that lives and practices in London. He has some unique insight into millenial leadership development. Rich and Maikel will discuss that on this episode of Mainline Executive Coaching ACT.
