In approximately 520 BC, the Greek philopsopher Herculitus, stated that, "Character is Destiny." Fast forward to present day. John Mattone writes in his 50 Laws of Intelligent Leadership that, "Character won't determine your destiny; it will determine your ultimate destiny." All throughout history, from even before Herculitus, we have examples of how an individuals character determined how their lives, and in many instances, entire nations either prospered, or collapsed. So how does character determine how a leaders future is determined?
