Mainline Executive Coaching ACT

Mea Culpa, Mea Culpa, Mea Culpa

Rich Baron and Maikel Bailey Season 1 Episode 50

Thank you for all of your support. Please let us know what you think about our podcast and what topic you may want to hear from us. Leaders, Lead Well!

Mea Culpa is a Latin phrase that means, through my fault. Simply put, it is an acknowledgement of having done wrong, or in other words, an apology. Being a leader, you must understand that you are ultimately responsible for your team, and organization's performance. Removing the blame from your team takes the pressure off them and builds respect and positive team dynamics. All too often, people in leadership positions fail at this attribute because of the concern in protecting their own position and reputation. However, taking the accountablility for a team's mistakes is what seperates managers from truly great leaders. Rich and Maikel discuss Mea Culpa in today's episode of Mainline Executive Coaching ACT.
